Schools: Kewdale Primary School

On Sunday, 12 March, Kewdale Primary School held its annual car wash. It was a perfect day with the sun shining and not too hot.

Everyone was washing and drying cars then we were surprised to see the local fire brigade arrive with the big tanker and the smaller 4WD.

We were happy to have them help wash cars until they were called out on a job.

We would also like to give credit to AL TRANCIO – Slabs of Pizza, located at 3/51 Belvedere Street in Belmont for their kind donation of three Margherita pizzas that were really delicious.

We would like to thank students, parents and siblings for putting in your time and effort to assist us. We washed approximately 200 cars and 4WDs.

Due to everyone’s hard work we raised the amazing sum of $1, 208.85. There were 26 students who participated in this fundraising event with the money raised going towards the Year 6 Graduation Lunch at the end of the year.
