Kewdale Primary love trees!

The students at Kewdale Primary School planted more trees around their school oval in October, pictured below, with the support from our Council's Urban Forest Team. This is the third time Kewdale PS has planted trees at their school, helping to increase our canopy cover and grow our urban forest.

This is not the first time they have added to the number of trees at their school. The council made the first plantings over winter, some Marri trees around the pre-primary playground for shelter and shade.

The project offers trees to schools, businesses and households, to help increase our tree canopy. Contact the Urban Forest Team at the council for information about how you can join in! (Photo courtesy COB)
